Write a Hybrid Mobile App

Purpose: Redevelop/modernise current iFirstAid application ([login to view URL]) and make it available for Apple and Android. New app to: - prompt user for registration upon first opening the app. Details to capture: o Name o Email Address (for future marketing and updates) o Country (this field will populate the Emergency section details in the app) o Pin Code: to be used by the False Alarm button within the Travel section of the app - not be available in the UK (at very least it can’t be called iFirstAid) - possible ability to have a ‘lite’ version which only gives access to a certain amount of the app. Ability to purchase ‘complete’ app First Aid Section The purpose of the First Aid section of the app is for users to easily find first aid instructions that will help them in an emergency. The new app must: - retain “audio functionality” in first aid instructions of current app - be able to play videos of how to use first aid components or how to apply first aid. EG video of how to correctly give CPR (video icon to be displayed next to speaking icon) – Provide destination in each section for future videos as they are developed - have a more modern, easy-to-use layout than the existing app Travel Section The Travel section of the app is designed to give travellers information on travel issues in destination countries. The user can select any country to see the travel information specific to that country, such as: - Emergency Numbers: o Emergency number when phoning from a Mobile (auto dial) o Ambulance o Poisons Information Hotline o Police o Fire o Consulate - Travel Warnings: Not sure if we can draw information from Smart Traveller website ([login to view URL]) or if we keep our own database of warnings - Vaccinations: Information about what vaccinations are needed before travelling so that specific country - Find My Family: The ‘Find My Family’ section will be designed to let users grant their family/friends permission to see their current location at any time to ensure that they are safe. Users will add each other as ‘family’ or ‘friends’ and can access their friends whereabouts on a map at any time (if permission given). The Find My Family section will also allow: o Activity Feed: Users to ‘check-in’ at locations which will be added to their activity feed (so other users can see where they are and where they have been) o Emergency broadcast button: Send out an emergency message within the app to say that they are in trouble. This will send out a message to everyone on that users family/friends list to alert them that they are in trouble and will attach their current location to the message o False Alarm button: In case the Emergency broadcast button was hit by accident, the False Alarm button will send out another message to say that the user is OK and that the previous broadcast was a false alarm.
