I have a project which invloves converting existing code to .NET. The current code is written in VB 6.0 and ACCESS database. It integrates with a 3rd party program and database.
The program is fairly large it would take about 350 hours to rewite in VB, however I would like it re-written in VB.NET using Classes and changing the architecture to allow this. There are currently functions and controls. The screen would stay the same as well as the functionality, only the technology on the back end would need to be modified.
I can provide many more details, however I would like to have several people bid on the project, but I do not want to send out the source code to so many people. I will have more work to complete continuing after this project, so please consider this a beginning project.
I am not sure how to approach people on the site without submitting the source code, so please contact me at this site and request more details so we can begin discussing. Once I have narrowed it down to only 3-4 coders I will then provide the source code etc... Until then I can provide samples of the source code and specifications etc...
Please respond to this message, if you must provide a bid, then we can change the bid amount if necessary, and we can consider this a written statement that I would agree to change the bid if it needs to be changed based on further details I provide.
Thank you,
Don Fraser
