E-Commerce Media Website Aim: To provide a service which allows users to buy and sell their used/new games, movies, and music. Each user will have a personal account, which they can deposit money into and withdraw money from. The site I intend build is highly complex, so only coders/companies with much experience in e-commerce should bid. Attached are 11 Visio documents which contain the site design and notes to you, the coder. You will be responsible for all the information that is in those documents. Note that the actual site will have many more than 11 pages. It will also require database design, graphical creation, and the ability to work with credit card information on a secure https server. I should also be provided any tools I may need to edit the information in the site in the future (information regarding this is included in the documents). The site must have (as is seen in the visio documents) a built-in messaging service and forwarding service, along with a custom user chat room (built preferably in Java). The site must display properly on all types of monitors in all resolutions. Here is an example of one such complex function: Upon a user’s sale of a good, I would like a background application to open the USPS shipping label website ([login to view URL]) and fill in required information (all the information as to the shipper and buyer should be in a database) on that and the following page. That way, the user only has to click one link to print their mailing label. Please refer to the Visio documents for more information. The file entitled "Notes to Coder" has additional notes for you to see. It will clarify some of the background logistical issues. Also, please visit the following three sites: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Although they are each different than what I want, you can see the level of professionalism and thought that went into them. Continued in platform.....
