This project is basically the display end of a 5 reel video slot machine without the win computations etc. The program will have a dymamic content library and display sysmbols as per code supplied Built in Flash or swish ## Deliverables This project is basically the display end of a 5 reel video slot machine without the win computations etc. Built in Flash or Swish for a win 2000 or Nt platform The slot machine has five reels R1,R2,R3,R4 & R5 The reels have three preset spin speeds slow med & fast. Sp1 Sp2 & Sp3 The reels have preset spin durations D1 to D40 (D= 1/4 second) EG:- (*D*1= 1/4 second, D4= 1 second, D30= 7 1/2 seconds** ) There are 20 symbol locations on each reel The symbols on the reels are variables Sy1 to SY20 The symbol images will be stored in folders named F1, F2, and so on… The Symbols in each folder will be named Sy1 to Sy20 . (gif , Jpeg , png ) (Whatever extension is best, I can accommodate any of these) So if for example Sy5 may be a cherry graphic in folder 1 (F1) But, Sy5 may be an orange graphic in folder 2 (F2). enabling me to design numerous sets of 20 graphics and saving them per set in folders F1, F2 and so on Each reel when stopped will display three symbols. T, M, & B. (Top, Middle, & Bottom) The program will look for five lines of csv values in a data file. The data file may contain 100s of sets data, and will read the next five lines of data each time the start button is pressed, Each line will represent the properties of each reel. Eg Reel 1 may look like this... R1,Sp2, D12, F2, Sy5,T, Sy8,M, Sy17,B …and tell the program to perform like this… R1=For Reel1 Sp2=Spin at speed 2 (medium). D12=Spin for a duration of 3 seconds (12X1/4 seconds) F2=Look in folder 2 for the graphic symbols. Sy5,T=display symbol 5 from folder 2 at the top of reel 1 when stopped. Sy8,M= display symbol 8 from folder 2 at the middle of reel 1 when stopped. Sy17,B= display symbol 17 from folder 2 at the bottom of reel 1 when stopped. The same repeats for Reels 2, 3, 4, & 5 but with different variables. You can see a blurred image of the actual symbols as the reel’s are spinning, Can the blurred image be made from the actual images that are stored in the folders specified by the reel codes. As a symbol may be a big red x and it would look odd if you couldn’t sort of pick it out as the reel’s were spinning. I can design the stage / backgrounds etc so just a plain 800 x 600 colour with five white reel slots cut out, would do fine to get started with. All the images will have transparent backgrounds.
