**UPDATE:** Apologies to all interested parties who placed bids on this request. A reorganisation internal to the Buyer saw this initiative put on hold. We have now gained approval to reopen this bid.
Customer Management / Self-Service based application for a network services company (business web hosting, etc).
Application will allow new customers to sign up autonomously and once signed up, manage their account details such as registered users, service settings, dns, mail and database configurations, etc.
Application is a web based interface and will be running on a Linux based platform (Red Hat 9 currently), Apache, Tomcat 4 or PHP, and MySQL. Preference would be for developer to use Struts and or Spring frameworks, if Java is the chosen language. However, we will consider PHP instead of Java.
Requiring quick turn around. Basic implementation already completed, may need rebuild, but at developers discretion.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. and Australian Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased including full intellectual property rights of developed product(s). (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4) Developer/Seller will be required to product daily snapshots/source repository updates and will be required to provide regular status updates to the Buyer, at a frequency to be agreed to by both parties.
5) Developer/Seller will provide JavaDoc or similar API documentation on deliver of all final product.
6) Buyer and Seller will, upon commencement of project, agree to a project plan to give both parties the ability to track and understand progress. Both parties will then agree to use this project plan to drive all deliverables and product drops.

Hello Rentacoders,
Last year in September, you placed a bid on a development request for a web based customer management application. At that time, the project was put on hold due to internal reorganisation difficulties within the Buyers' company.
These changes to our organisation have now been locked down and we have gained approval to reopen this initiative. We apologise to everyone for the time wasted on your behalf but we invite everyone to rebid again. If you are interested, please review your comments and bid and send a message to the Buyer confirming that you are reconfirming the bid.
Thanks in advance,
SE.
## Platform
Preference is for application to be Java based Web application running under Tomcat 4, on a Linux based environment. Development / Test server will be provided via dedicated Internet connection with preconfigured Tomcat, MySQL and Linux system. Access to system will be via SSH. Developer/Seller may operate their development / build environment on their own system, provided they use same versions of MySQL, Apache/Tomcat and Java/PHP
