I would like to pass a SQL PreparedStatement created in one servlet as a parameter to another JAVA servlet. My PreparedStatement is this:
PreparedStatement selectProgressLine = null;
try { selectProgressLine =
[login to view URL](
"select status, eventdate, progressline from progress where id=? order by eventdate");
} // end try
catch (SQLException e)
{ [login to view URL](" PreparedStatement: SQL exception");
} // end catches
The other servlet is invoked as:
[login to view URL]("
"); [login to view URL]("");
I would like to add the PreparedStatement created in the first program as a parameter to the second. Now, when I try to do it, it is saved as a String variable and I cannot get it converted back to a PreparedStatement.
