URL variable to Turn Off My Pop-up

Small code sniplet for PHP web page. I need a code that will allow me to add a variable to the URL that will trigger my page to turn off pop-ups on my sight. I use both entry and exit pop-ups (and pop-overs) controlled by java script, I will need the code to work for one the other or all. I use includes files for my pop-up/exit-pops/popovers. I typically have a conditional statement 'var exit=true'. That way, I can use a statement 'onClick="exit=false" to turn them off.
