This is right in my current wheel house. For my present company, I just finished a report (and tools) that runs through the environment nightly, pulling all salient details about each host storing them in a mysql database. The PMs are then able to generate a report for their group that includes budget forecasting and a 3 month monitoring snapshot.

I work in projects similar to this one every day so I can definitely help you. I would have to take a look to the databases but I can most probably have it finished in one or two days. Dont hesitate to ask if you have any doubts or questions.
