Google Chrome Extension + API Interaction

We require someone to develop a Google Chrome extension to interact with an API we have built which will be checked every X minutes (to be set by the user in the extension options) The user will also need to set their unique customer ID which is passed to the API. The extension will need to handle the following returned: - deal with the API returning the following data: status=success,msg=determined by the API - deal with an error being returned and display a popup box advising of the error and include the msg from the API data, eg. status=error,msg=msg from the API - Store the unique customer ID - Ability to query the API every X minutes set by the user
