The goal of this project is to develop from scratch a complete web application that would be used as a backend and frontend for an online currency exchange site. For security, simplicity and maintenance reasons we strongly prefer the app to be based on open-source technologies, such as Wordpress.
The app must be fully automated – it must have the ability to continuously perform information exchange between clients and banks in a secure and professional way. Furthermore, the app has to be integrated with external payment gateways, such as Paypal, Skrill and 2-3 similar gateways handling different deposit and withdrawal options such as credit cards and online wire transfers. The app need to be multi-lingual and need to enable the client (user) to communicate with the admin via helpdesk.
Further requirements:
- Two factor authentication (could be performed by external service, however it must be integrated by default for admins and clients),
- Full integration with bank accounts (checking balances, deposits, withdrawals, payment status etc.),
- Full integration with an external API providing current market quotes for any given currency pair. Ability to expand/replace the source of quotes if needed,
- Automated currency exchange based on current market quotes provided by the API,
- Ability to include commission expressed as a percentage of transaction or as a fixed amount,
- Ability to upload files (such as ID’s, transfer confirmations etc.) to the server in a secure way,
- Ability to monitor client IP’s, logs checking, IP blocking, basic fraud prevention,
- Admin login notification via email/sms,
- Bruteforce notification and prevention (i.e. force to wait for a specified time after 5 failed login attempts),
- SQL injection prevention,
- SSL integration
Most of the above mentioned features are or can be integrated into Wordpress with ease, therefore Wordpress in the preferred way to go. However, we are open to discuss alternative options as long as the code remains clean, secure, well commented and preferably based on open-source technologies. Please only bid if you are an experienced coder and know what your are doing.
