Overview The aim of How To Use Inhalers app is to teach users how to reduce or eliminate their symptoms of respiratory diseases like Asthma, COPD, and allergies by teaching them the correct breathing pattern required for their respective inhaler. Through this app, users can learn the correct inhalant techniques by watching step-by-step video instructions from trained instructors and thereby manage their airways better. Creating the Video Player- The main requirement is to create a video player that will be used to play the downloaded inhaler videos within the app. The video player that needs to be built has to be very specific because there are certain features and animations like text boxes, subtitle boxes, timers and inhaler breath bars that will appear on the inhaler videos. The video player should be flexible such that it is possible to enable and disable these features based on the requirements of the particular video or step. Expected from design - 1. The videos will be stored in folders (each inhaler will have a separate folder) that will be located on azure. When a user signs up into the app, videos and other data from these folders will be downloaded into the device local storage. We need to fetch these videos from the device local storage and play them in the app using the video player. 2. The video player should have the functionality to pause and play the video by clicking on the pause/play button. 3. The inhaler videos show step-by-step instructions, and every step has a separate video file here and the video player should play these steps in a queue. However, the video player should also have the functionality to navigate between the various steps by clicking on the step buttons. 4. As mentioned before, certain features and animations like text boxes, subtitle boxes, timers, inhaler breath bars, etc. will appear on the inhaler videos. However, these animations are not embedded within the videos but have individual libraries within the app. Moreover, these animations do not appear on every step or video, and therefore they need to be enabled or disabled as per the requirements of that particular step or video. The video player, therefore, should also be flexible enough to enable and disable these features based on the requirements. 5. The video player needs to work for both, android phone and tablet devices.
