I’m looking for a simple bash script to extract the 1st and the Last page of the PDF file and remove them from the original PDF file. The PDF file contains images, in fact each page of the PDF file is an image. The images or pages should NOT be anyhow resized, changed or altered. After the 1st and the Last page were extracted, then they should be adjoined together on a large single page PDF file and include an external image(or pdf file) inserted between them. The both pdf files should be zipped and saved in the home folder. The script should be able to email notifications.
