Exporting an existing database and importing it to RDS is trivial, as is setting up the security group to allow connections to it from your Wordpress site then changing the database to be used by that site. I can have this done in a few hours.

I have 8 year of system administration being 5 of these years with Cloud Computing holding 2 Amazon Web Services certification (Professional and Security) and I´m sure I can give you the right path to what you want For what you need, I know exactly how to do it as I got a blog using Wordpress and RDS and needed to be removed from RDS to become inside a MySQL server in the instance, the opposite as you, but the methodology to do it it´s the same.
