Creative Business Financial Software

As an artist, I understand that one major obstacle in more artists becoming better business people is the lack of financial software or some sort of tracking software that makes doing the 'business' part of their creative job easier. I also believe the more aware of your finances, the more likely you are to be successful in the future for your business. I'm looking for someone to write some software that will easily translate into a financial database for artists in particular but also could be used for other creative business in general. The client would be his own business in most cases or have at most one or two other individuals working with him/her. I'd like to see a day to day sales file organized by month and separated into 3-7 categories that could be individualized based on each artist's stream of income (classes, galleries, paintings, online shop, shows, etc.) Likewise, there should be an expense data entry file also by month and categorized into typical artists expenses (supplies, postage, travel, advertisement, gas, fees, education, etc). Another feature needed would be an inventory tracker that would incorporate a jpg fie, description, cost, retail, dateand disposition (sold, in gallery, online, not for sale, donated) . I'd also like the user to be able to run reports based off of all of this information. Perhaps be able to see all sorts of sales analysis such as year over year sales, category, business to business sales, In addition, I also envision another facet to this program for scheduling of events, jobs, commission work, and other day to day activities. One view would be very general but then another view would be very specific so if I were to look at for instance my October schedule, I would know I'm traveling 3 times that month for classes or other events, the dates, etc, but I would also be able to drill down and input specifics about those information. The other feature needed would be a customer/order tracker; generally artists will have customers coming from many different locations (online, through social media, galleries, direct or website inquiries, outside websites such as Ebay or Etsy, an easy to find customer database to track completion of orders and order details would be of great interest. Many artists are not super computer savvy so all of this should be easy to navigate and somewhat easy to customize. I'm not sure if I'm looking for actual software or a super all inclusive series of Excel spreadsheets. I'm open to both and possibly would upgrade or look at enhancements year over year. I would be selling this to other artists so I would need a way to market and distribute this at an very affordable means.
