Develop a plugin

We have a school management system running on a Ruby platform called Fedena - [login to view URL] We have a ruby plugin for it which helps us mark attendance using RFID/Biometric devices. The devices send data to the server form where the plugin reads it and then marks attendance accordingly. Its a fairly simple setup. This plugin is integrated into the fedena system, but we now want add a few extra features and want to use the api system of fedena [login to view URL]). The api provides simple integration code to communicate with fedena. HTML-JS and Ruby code are provided for almost every function possible. We need a new plugin developed which makes use of the api and gets the job done. The main job of the plugin would be to capture the data sent by device on the server port, and then mark attendance, send SMS using the data and the fedena api.
