Build a very minor workflow in existing application

I use vTigerCRM open source CRM software. I also use the "Mail Manager" module which imports emails from my mail service. There is a drop down to the right that allows you to relate this email to a contact when a matching contact is found in the system. So see the workflow I need: 1.) Email Comes Into Vtiger 2.) Mail Manager module (or however) searches email addresses automatically 3.) If contact if found then the "attach email" command happens automatically. 4) if no contact if found then ignore The only thing I feel that you would be looking at building the the process or actually having to manually select the "Attach E-mail" button when a matching contact is found.
