Create a webhook upon user registration and catch the response wordpress

I need to initiate a webhook upon user registration to an external API sending some data from the wp_user table and catch the response when it's triggered and recorded it in the database. I need the solution to be clear and portable by us in production stage. Quick job that leads to other for the successful candidate.
