I have had over 5 years experience in Python scripting. I have used it in both big nd small companies. My specialism is in API design and use, and in my spare time I love creating APIs. One of the main reasons I like scripting is helping people to avoid tedious mnual tasks using coding. I just find it a really satisfying task - especially when it works well.
In order to create a proper assessment of the complexity of this project, I would need to see the documentation for the API, and depending on the complexity of the tasks in relation to the API, I may need access to the software to do some testing.
In the past, I used to be quiteinto amateur video editing, so I am aware of different video formats. Although my knowledge might be a little dated, this is nothing some research can't fix.
I'm based in Bloomsbury, so fairly near to your offices.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
While I work I'll setup a private GitLab repository, or I can use one of your choosing. I'll make all the changes there so you'll be able to see exactly what I've done each day.
Just a note about the Freelancer "qualifications": I wish I hadn't done any. The questions the technical questions they ask do not cover the intricacies of a programming language, but rather random trivia about languages that you might see if you read a book about them.
