I'd recommend a more robust eCommerce engine instead of WIX. It just allows you to design websites using their Visual Editor however lacks the advanced eCommerce features. Instead of WIX, I'd recommend Magento as the eCommerce platform. At a budget of 1000 AUD, I'd design and develop a new eCommerce site on Magento and also add all your products and categories. Hi, I suggest you go for WordPress with WooCommerce for your products. first the important aspect is wordpress is already SEO Friendly and it needs a few tweaks to get the site to the first pge. Second it is customer friendly like you can add products, manage and change contents on the fly without any help or minimal teaching. May be a few online classes will help to know how to add and edit products on the go. I dont recommend WIX as you cannot come out of wix for anything. You will be stuck with them for every need and cannot port with required. Adding the 550 products can be done using CSV at the backend initially and then you can start to manage it on the admin panel easily I have explained as much from my expertise and I will be grateful to be of help and work on the project Hope to talk to you soon Best regards, Anand
