Hi, I would recommend Tableau as the software to create analytical reports. The task is to connect Tableau with Moodle and take reports from Tableau. Please let me know your thoughts. I am Senthilguru , E-learning consultant & Moodle developer have 8+ year experience on Moodle theme design & integration , Moodle plugin development , Moodle course creation , Moodle installation & administration. We can create the report plugin for you , we have used reporting tools like intelliboard for the Moodle instances. Its not possible to depend on Moodle API alone to generate the reports.
