I need to fix a php / MySQL website connection issue. I have four simple websites where the web hosting provider has recently upgraded to php 7.2, causing a fatal error for connection of my MySQL database. This is probably a very simple issue that can be fixed by accessing the cPanel to either update the php extension or modify the MySQL database. I would like to get this problem solved very soon. Shown below is the error being displayed on the current website (note: I changed the domain name to a generic “website” as to preserve privacy on this public posting via freelancer). Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /home/spect39/public_html/[login to view URL]:28 Stack trace: #0 /home/spect39/public_html/[login to view URL](20): DB->connect() #1 /home/spect39/public_html/[login to view URL](2): include('/home/spect39/p...') #2 {main} thrown in /home/spect39/public_html/[login to view URL] on line 28

this is common issue nowdays. you hosting provider upgraded php version and they stoped support for older version of php like php5.6 that'st mysql_ family functions are not working. you website code needs to update. hello greetings from my side yes i am matching all your prerequisites which you mentioned on your project description I have 7+ year experience in this field i have 2+ year experience working in codeingiter and also have experience all related technologies on web. waiting for your reply --Chirag Jagani
