Hi As I understand you need to use Watson for Speech-to-text feature and some analysis to develop on azure AI/NLP API. I really need some more details about how it should work and what exact output should it give before estimate deadline. My estimations now are: 4-5 hours for design document 16-20 hours for Watson Phase 20-24 hours for NLP Phase 2-3 hours for testing and closure. hi, can you please help answering the below. 1. Do you plan to use IBM watson for the speech-to-text? 2. And the Azure NLP/LUIS for understanding the text? 3. What is the analysis you will need to run on this text and have you already selected whether it will be IBM/MSFT API? Will it be a browser based app?- if so you could well integrate with chrome engine to use its STT capability and then push text to an NLP then process further. Do the AI APIs you refer encompass both NLP/Sentiment analysis and image processing or only speech synthesis? I have worked on Python+OpenCV+Keras+Tensorflow, and had worked on a project involved CNN/Deep Learning to detect age and gender. I have extensive experience working in Python with API's and I little bit of experience working with Azure Machine Learning Studio making predictions of the Stock Market. I really enjoy developing codes in Python, specially if the project I'm working on is challenging as this one. My approach to this project will be as follows: 1. Identify those APIs suited for our purposes. In MSFT there are several devoted to speech recognition: Bing Speech, Custom Speech, etc. We can test all this APIs if necessary. With IBM Watson things look a little more straightforward as they offer only one API as part of their developer tools. 2. Data preprocessing. Once I know which tools I will use I'll also know how the data should be prepared before submitting to the APIs. This data preprocessing can be done locally using python scripts implementing scikit-learn and NLTK methods. It can be done also using Azure's methods. Again it will depend on your needs. 3. Submit the processed data to the Azure/Watson API(s) and the speech retrieve the resulting text. The following steps will depend on the type of analysis you want to do on the text. I presume you want to extract some information also using ML and here again we would use Azure/Watson tools. I'd like to know more about your data set: format of the speech files, average duration of each, language, is it clean speech or are there source of noise? What do you want to do exactly with the processed text?
