Full-stack Developer with a Strong Focus on Python and Big Data Expertise

We are building a new site that will involve a big data, machine learning, etc. to operate a marketplace and update pricing on key items. We need a developer to assemble back end. Experience in machine learning required. Though this is not a pure ML project, there is one crucial part of the job that is very likely to be completely ML based. Therefore, you must have experience of creating successful regression ML algorithms in a commercial environment and be able to demonstrate this. Also useful to have Python or .NET expertise. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will build back-end systems to pull data that the customer needs and then integrate those systems with web and mobile front-ends. Your duties will give you a high-level view including the interpretation of business rules; definition and development of new applications and architectures; optimizing data-engineering and ETL processes; and finally designing and implementing user interfaces. Required Qualifications Proficiency with the python programming language Experience building web-crawlers pulling from ASP.net WebForms systems 4+ years of experience working as a software development engineer 4+ years of experience with CSS3, HTML5, and Javascript Hands-on experience working with relational databases such as MySQL Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment and stay motivated/flexible Ability to communicate effectively in English about advanced programming concepts Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Amazon Web Services EC2, Lambda, S3, SES, SNS, and RD 4+ years experience hand coding HTML/CSS and JavaScript Strong knowledge of W3 standards and cross-browser compatibility Experience building sites based on SEO, accessibility, and customer-focused best practices Able to translate PSDs or other static designs to HTML and CSS Must have strong knowledge of CSS, Javascript, MYSQl and JQuery Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction Strong knowledge and experience developing web pages for multiple web browsers Full Stack developer experience with one or more of the following technologies: Python, C/C++, JSON, and/or Node JS Experience developing real-time web applications Ability in Integrating web services APIs developed by back-end developers and 3rd party vendors Machine Learning, Data Science, Big Data, Data logging AWS BigData technologies experience (S3, AWS Containers)
