I thought the model is already well-trained, So why you need to train a new one, from my point of view, 1. set up the whole env 2. do predict on your own dataset, to see it is good or not 3. if not good, we can train on your dataset(dataset size is required, also we can use pre train) 4. 3D is just a series of 2D images, 2D or 3D doesnot matter also depends on your actual purpose.
