Hello. I'm an engineering student, and I've worked before with Python and Javascript particularly. I believe that your scraper is doable, and it sounds truly fun to make. The only issue being that, depending on how it's implemented, it may be a more elegant solution. Due to the big ammount of information, perhaps the best way to handle it would be in stages. Although I haven't found a use for creating a scraper myself, I'm confident I can create what you are looking for.
