I'm an experienced developer with a keen interest in the Raspberry Pi. I've worked on many Pi related projects using various input/output boards. What are the serial sensors? Are they RS232 5V serial - if so you'll need a converter to the Pi's 3.3V serial connections. Does the database in the internet already exist or does that need creating?

Hi! I propose to develop program on python (3.5 - default on raspbian). It will be a small application that scales easily. When you say serial sensors do you mean connected by i2c? what are the sensors? I have tens of sensors here and Rpi and ready to go.
