569425 Multi-vendor Extension for Magento website

Hi, I would like (part of) a working module that's already developed. You should not start working for my project. I want to buy a ready made working product. Introduction: I have a website portal that sells regions' best & most typical offer. Besides selling myself I have multiple vendors who sell their offer through my site (through my checkout). The extension I bought earlier to handle this is Dropship Onepage + Productmatrix shipping extension from Webshop Apps ([login to view URL] and [login to view URL]). It allows me (!) to register a vendor and to assign their shipping costs (through a csv) to their products (on my website; registered by me). I want to create a nice looking shop in shop environment in which companies themselves can: a. enlist/register to publish products (simple form asking them about their to be published offer; may also be just a mailto script) Once companies are approved by us they must be able to: b. (individual and bulk) upload, edit and delete their products (including price, tax, stock update) in a nice looking environment (preferably not the look and feel of Magento's back end) c. manage their company description and conditions that apply I don't mind: - setting a company's shipping costs per product and per destination by hand in a csv (one-off); - registering the dropshipper's name through magento's back end and connecting the dropship modules I already have; - assigning the shipping group name (made up by me in the csv) to their products (from Magento's product management). Today I've been busy thinking about this shop in shop environment and now I'm thinking: a. there must be an easy to implement, free and customizable shop in shop module in PHP already out there. I've been google-ing and found some interesting results like [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] It's however too technical for me to figure out if we can better extend the current site with such a module (part) or whether we would have to overwrite certain elements of the current site (once again: as we already have shipping costs solutions with regard to multiple vendors + drop shipping possibilities within the site; we just don't have a multiple vendor product management environment yet) b. would it be wiser to start off the new site with a new total shop in shop system? The advantages I can think of would be: - it's complete with order overviews per vendor (for us and the vendor); - configurable commissions per vendor and payment options to directly or monthly pay the vendor. (both issues are currently solved by hand as the number of orders is still low) - sellers might want this/expect this from us. The disadvantages I can think of would be: - current system works fine now, just needs an extension for product management for multiple vendors (how good is a new system?), - need to import all settings of current system into new system (too much trouble for the phase we're still in?) So our technical needs depend on whether we choose to have the current system extended with a multiple vendor/shop in shop area or whether we go for a totally new multiple vendor system. What would you suggest us and what would be the cost? As I'm also looking for a long term Magento programmer/developer good help on this project means you'll be on top of our list for that.
