Visual basic preferred as we have SQL server in our premises and would like the db store in our premises. Data storage - to store knowledge and experience from Engineer when they deal with a product . Need to searchable field for information . May 3 field such as main category , sub category and then details but need to search by category and sub category and keywords search. Product Database - to store products and searchable , more details and sample website will be provided.
