I need to move some databases from SQL Server 2008 R2 running on a Windows 2008 R2 virtual server to SQL Server 2012 running on a Windows 2012 R2 virtual server. I copied the first database over which runs an e-commerce website. However it made the website run very slowly taking several seconds to move between pages. I need someone to find out why this server move has made the database run so slowly and fix it. It needs to be completed by the end of August 2018.
