One20 Sydney is urgently in need of a Cinema4D character rigger.
The existing character has been auto rigged but not to a high enough standard for good animation.
We need someone to either fix what we've got. Which might require some weight painting & edge flow tweaking.
Or, a re-rig from scratch. We'd prefer this, because the quick-rig method used is a pain to animate with.
Current problems:
- Mesh weights are terrible. Especially around the armpits.
- Mouth needs to be more customisable. We think it's a weights thing again.
- General edge flow needs improvement.
The character model is a simple single mesh design. No clothes or accessories. It might need some edge flow alterations for quality deformations.
The only challenge will be the stylistic / cartoony eyes. The animator will need to be able to shape them in to different expressions. So some control objects around them to shape them would be great.
