I am a Project Engineer knowledgeable in understanding topographical maps and floor plans which will be provided by employer for computation of equivalent soil volume to be displaced.

We will be using autocad civil 3d in this kind of project. if you will provide us a terrain ( topograpchic map ) in pdf format we will convert that in 3d form and from that we can make a multiple cross section as many as you want. hence; from that cross sections we can take off the volume of soil.
