Greetings, I'm a 65-year-old American, transcription expert who has worked online the last eight years as chief transcription editor/proofreader for three large American-based transcription companies. Needless to say, my habituation for highest accuracy is obsessive. I reside in the Philippines by the way... Please note that your project budget reflects AUD per Hour Work and not per hour of transcription audio. Generally, moderately fast transcription takes 5 hours to complete 1-hour of audio (if clear audio), although the range may be from 4 hours to as much as 8 hours, depending on variables such as clarity of recording, clarity of the speaker, number of speakers and format requested and amount of research needed. My usual rate for 99% accurate finished product is $45USD per Audio Hour (equivalent to $10-12 per working hour or 13AUD-16AUD). Kindly contact me for more details if you are interested. My main question to you would be please try to estimate the number of working hours you would probably need/average per day or week? I am very keen to work on your project as it is a great opportunity to use my recent knowledge and typing skills. I have all the audio and transcribing equipment to commence immediately. I use Express Scribe or FTW transcriber as the transcribing program and also know how to use Word, Excel and Outlook. I type into Word 2013 and return to you via Dropbox or email. I use foot pedal and headsets and have speakers to hear audio.
