The creation of the website is the first part. In the future there will be updates to the website that will be required (We will require an hourly rate for updates). Our intention is to have the individual(s) that create the site do the updates as well; to provide consistency. Website theme should be consistent between all pages accept the forum. Main page This page should have: Link to News page. Link to screenshots page. Login to user page. Link to forum. Link to create a new account. This should be a graphic button. The latest news (from the info page the last 3-5). News page This should be a running list of article titles that when clicked will open the full article. This should be a basic process that makes it easy to publish articles on a daily basis. The process to publish new news articles will need to be fully documented so that someone with basic computer knowledge can post an article. The article pages should follow the sire theme and be able to display text as well as pictures, charts and tables. The page should have a static pane/frame at the top of the list that says the game is currently in pre-beta Screenshots page This page should have thumb nails linked to larger picture. Having a popup over the page of the enlarged picture is fine. User Form The forum will use the user info for the user name and login. There is a preference to not use phpbb. Form doesn’t need to follow the theme but the background should be close to the main pages.   User page New users will need to put in their name, address and unique user name and password. Min length for a password should be 6 characters and max length of 255 characters. This page should have: -Link to the micro transaction store. (Not required for this stage) -Link to download the game. Disabled for now but in the future will be linked to the installer for the game. -Link to an application form to be a tester. This should include their user info, machine info (basic info like processor, memory, video card) and any testing they have done in the past. -The ability to change their user name -The ability to change their password. -The ability to keep track of keys that the user has purchased. -Keys will need to be validated when the user is entering them. Keys are part of the user database in a table called “KeyTable”. -The “KeyTable” has the following info: Key(varchar(20)) Account(Int(11)) KeyType(Int(11)) KeyDescription(varchar(20)) We do not wish the website to be php or WordPress, It must be secured against multiple attack vectors.
