We are looking for a developer who can assist in creating a mobile app (both iOS and Android) and a companion website. The mobile app will be a game. The source code for the game will be provided. The developer will help coordinate with our team and other third parties to integrate updated artwork into the game app. In addition, the developer will be responsible for integrating advertisements into the game via an ad SDK (AdMob) as well as adding custom functionality for earning coins each time a certain achievement is reached. The developer will create a website that serves as a way for the users to manage their coin levels. Coins will be able to be purchased (both in the game apps and the website) as well as redeemed for other goods or services to be determined later. The website will be coded in either PHP or a Python web framework on a LAMP. The developer will also assist in creating a database to store user information and the user's coin level as well as tracking goods and services and their associated coin cost. The database will be MySQL. Two Linux servers will be provided: one for the database and one for the website. The developer will also publish the games to the Google Play store and the Apple App Store on our behalf. Finally, the developer will provide detailed documentation about his or her processes as well as the created application, website and database. An example use case: John downloads Amazing A Game from the Google Play store. He plays for 3 hours, sees ads between levels and a banner at the top of the game, and completes 10 levels. Upon completion of level 10, he is awarded 100 coins, which will be tracked against his user information in the database. He then logs-in to his profile on the website and chooses to redeem 75 coins for Service X. His coin level should now be 25 and there should be an entry in a processing queue for John to be given Service X because he redeemed his 75 coins for it. An admin processes the order and delivers Service X to John. John receives an email with a notification that his order has been processed.
