Consult with me about a new website and webapps I want to build on WordPress.

I purchased a domain ([login to view URL]) that I intend on using to host free web applications that model financial options. A large part of this is a calculator that will show the potential payout of a stock option. I bought the domain through godaddy and I paid for a premium wordpress subscription where the site is currently hosted. I'd like to implement webapps similar to [login to view URL], but I don't understand the potential pros/cons of choosing wordpress over other options. I don't know how to deploy code/etc. I'd like to offer users the option of premium memberships and have several pages of web applications. I'm hoping to get a phone call of up to 1 hour from someone that has experience with web development, wordpress, and javascript that can help me get on the right track.
