Search Parameters - repost

My website [login to view URL] has a search bar where you can search for what and where this works great however it is set up so that if you search for something in an area where no results are directly found for example when searching for tiles where 2073 there are no results so the current system draws all results from within a 35 kilometer radius and displays all of these. These are displayed in random order though i.e. the suburb that might be 20 kilometers away might be the first result and the last result may be a suburb 1kilometer away I need these to be shown in order from closest to furthest away. Fix current search results that when no listing in direct area all listings displayed within 35 kilometer radius I need these results to automatically display from closest to furthest in order not just random as mentioned above.
