Hi, I have written a 5000 word short story, maybe it's fantasy adventure. I seek an editor, who likes the story, it will be illustrated and self published. I will be hiring the cheapest or there about's, as i need a new tent. thanks PS. some extracts below From fruit to root the Duk Duk’s themselves became the tall tress of the Kingdom. The DukDuk’s grew from tall DukDuk trees, there amber breast under its puffed out cardinal green plumage would explode into an orange charge, and as it did in their youth flying in the air it did with branches in their sleek old age. A new civilization came to the DukDuk Kingdom. A thousand stars hung heavenly green and purple, the moon melted over the DukDuk tree’s canopy. Late night song birds sang. Rivers flowed from the clouds a luring white into the sea from where seven silver knights walked out. The Knights of a far and away Empire had been on expedition. They and their ... They twisted and dangled on ropes, they skied on the water attached to kites and there was another on a floating wooden platform operating a pulley, all were in silver suits. They had heads in the shape of giant clam shells, and where jumping from wave to wave, creating jests of spray. Oh Carolina, dropped into the water to hide, and this set off cries of alarm from the silver surfers, calls and shouts rang out and they came again. The pulley spun, powers cords where pulled and Oh Carolina beheld a pair of frightful and un mercy less eyes fixed and speeding towards her. "Join us in our work Oh Carolina, offering safe passage, we are the Celestial Knights", as he said this, Helmet spun on his crescent shaped boots fit for purpose and unfurled his long arms, skim did the same and Oh Carolina to keep the uniformity followed suit, arms spanned out, now facing the sea, Helmet, with a voice that was bolder in its affectation as though ordering the sea to part and in his loud voice announced to the whole sea. "we are the knights of the great Inland Empire the great floods came, and our coats fled we lived at the bottom of the sea instead we built floating ladders and now we have returned to build our kingdom again” Oh Carolina, was touched by their story, sea pirates, with shell heads they maybe but they had conviction, even if it was being exercised a little irresponsibly. Then Helmet, with a final flinging up of his long arms called out "we are the illuminate". Oh Dear, thought Oh Carolina, there totally bananas!
