Here's a quick intro to what we are trying to achieve. My team and I have decided to start a poker T-shirt brand called 'Race to the River". The name Race to the River is meant to symbolize a classic "coin-flip" or "Race" when a pocket pair and 2 over cards go all in pre-flop.
The brand is meant to be a premium high end label, with the main selling point being great T- Shirt quality & cool designs, tied in with everything poker, from poker terms, phrases, concepts, objects etc. It is still in its infancy and there is a long long way to go yet.
The first thing we need is a logo hence here we are on freelancer. Here are some points to note:
1)We favour cool sleek minimalist designs, however feel free to design what ever you like. Something that can stand alone as a symbol and is recognizable. This logo will actually feature in our designs and not just appear on the website and labels.
2)You can add in some poker elements like suits etc. but they are not a must
If possible, the logo should be able to be used on the breast of a Polo -T shirt, caps etc. for example like the small polo man on a horse on a Ralph Lauren Polo-T. It should also look good when printing a Logo T-shirt.
3)Attached are some sample logos that we quite like. The first attachment (Inverted double Rs , file name Race To The River Logo) is one we did ourselves in paint, we quite like this one , so feel free to experiment with it and tweak it till its perfect. The others are company logos that we like.
4)If you are into fonts, you can design some "Race to the River" typography for us .
