Changes to existing website

We are looking for a php developer/company to develop a number of enhancement on a website that is developed using symfony 1.4 framework. We need someone to; • Perform an analysis of the source code. • Review the list of fixes/changes needed. • Estimate amount of hours for each task. • Implement changes. • Write a brief report on the changes that were done. We also need to be able to communicate with the developer freely, using skype. The website use MySQL database to store the content, the database is populated by parsing xml data files from an online source. Payment We will only accept by-the-hour proposals to compare bids. Job will be divided by tasks and payment will only be made after the completion of each task. We will give 10% upfront, and the rest at the end for each task. If you are not ok with this, please do not bid. Examples of tasks • Search module not working due to script restrictions (open basedir). We will provide you with a link of the debugger. • The database is populated by importing data from an external location. The script to import data is located in the project batch folder ([login to view URL]). We need to setup a daily schedule to run the script at midnight. If the import job is unsuccessful, we want that the script to send an email • The site has a number of urls that contain underscores, these should be changed to hyphens. • There are a number of xml fields that are not being translated , we need to check that every field is set correctly to its matching translation. We will provide you with a list of translations. There are 19 tasks to accomplish, we might add more task during the course of the project. We are looking to establish a long term business relationship with the successful bidder. If you/your company haven't worked on symfony 1.4 platform before, please do not bid.
