C++ and MSSQL bug fix Game server

I run a private game server with full source code of the game. We have a problem, randomly through out the day users who connect to the game get stuck at character selection. We are trying to debug and find out whats causing this, after a couple minutes they are able to log in. This happens globally to all users at one time, so say at 3PM the bug happens and no users are able to log in until 3:10 PM and than all a sudden they are able to again. There is very little error logs to prove whats happening, it may be some sort of MSSQL deadlock or something. This bug fix will require developer to have indepth c++ game programming skills and MSSQL skills. I believe its a database problem and I have source code for this. Must talk through skype. Might be a simple fix if we can find out whats going wrong. $100 for fix.
