I am certainly experienced in English transcription. I am currently doing one given by a client here on this same platform. Do you mean to say to leave out gaps of white space between the lines though? Separating between different speakers? Do you need the files to be transcribed verbatim or edited? And if edited which of the specifics (false starts, filler words, repeated words) that you need me to remove to make a clearer script? If it is around 3 hours then I suggest we break the project into milestones for every 1 hour. For each hour I expect to be paid 20 AUD, but of course if you feel the price is too high I'm open for negotiation. I should be able to finish within 4 days - 3 days to transcribe all of the files, and one for thoroughly checking the files for errors and speling mistakes before submission. Dear Sir/Madam: I can transcribe your approximately 3 hours of audio recording in psychology for $80 in 4 days. I can transcribe the file because I have more than 10 years' English transcription experience, transcribing a very wide array of audio and video files with native and ESL English speakers. I have transcribed hundreds of hours of audio and video files in English for clients on Freelancer alone. The transcript will be on a Word file that will be edited and proofread for spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors, with slang words converted to formal English. Unfamiliar or technical terms will be researched for better accuracy. Time stamps will be placed at approximately every 5 minutes or whatever interval you may prefer. I will also flag the gaps in the audio with [audio gap 0:00:00 - 0:00:00]. The text will be in single space with auto space between paragraphs. I can provide clean verbatim transcription with omission of false starts, stutters, and verbal fillers. I will use transcription software, not speech-to-text conversion software for better accuracy. I do not use speech-to-text software; I listen to each file and transcribe what I hear. I aim for as close to 100% accuracy as possible, but if there are words or phrases I do not understand, they are highlighted with a timestamp so you may find them easily. I also proofread every file for accuracy. The resulting transcript will be formatted with each speaker identified, and per your request, with gaps left between the transcripts. You also have the options of verbatim (every utterance and repeated word transcribed); intelligent verbatim (repeated words or false started edited out, but nuances of speech left it); or clean transcript, where only the content of the conversation is transcribed.
