Project Needs: A proofreader that will edit errors that are typographical or related to grammar, spelling, and style. High volume and accuracy are a must. Skills/Experience: I can proofread fifty to seventy 250 word articles daily. I have been writing, reading and editing both academic and non-academic papers for over 10 years as a high school teacher. I am highly efficient when it comes to working with a large workload. I have also worked with Pearson Publishing and collaborated with FSU on continuing education for teachers. I have published lesson plans and ideas for teachers and have edited work from others as well. I read several hundred pages daily if I am not working on an editing project. Techniques: I am familiar with APA, MLA, and CMOS 16th edition. I usually use the CMOS website as a reference for most of my editing work. I am fluent with Microsoft Word and am familiar with other word processing programs.
