I am currently looking for an accountant for my limited company, which was set up in November 2015. Through this company I produce videos for startups and other businesses, which explain their products and services. I am currently the only full-time employee/director but hire in other freelancers for projects where necessary. I am currently using another service for freelancers, but they seem incapable of giving any personal advice, only general advice that is tailored for all limited companies run by individuals. In fact, they have twice now given me incorrect advice that leaves me with very little confidence in the service. I am looking to move to a more personal service, with a named accountant who can help me with my company and personal tax affairs - ideally one that works with Xero. Crucially, I am looking for sensible advice that is specifically tailored to my business need/circumstances where required. It is all relatively straight forward at the moment but, as I am busy growing my core-business activity, I need someone who “has their eye on the ball” so-to-speak and can take care of most of the relevant paperwork for me and send timely reminders when my input is required. Relevant Experience and Qualifications: I am a qualified and experienced accountant and I am providing book keeping services (Financial Statements preparation and analysis, Data entry, Posting of transactions, Payroll preparation and disbursement, Bank reconciliation, Tax filling and other tasks associated with book keeping function) to various clients in UK, Australia, Canada and USA for the last 5 years. I am positive that I am the right person for this job. Approach to the Job: I will create separate company (if not already created) in Xero and then manage that company separately. I can give you advice regarding your accounts filling and VAT returns. Can remind you about the deadlines in a timely manner.
