Hi there.
My bank is TD Canada Trust. Last year, 2019, i took out an RSP. They took the incorrect amount of tax from it. So, in the early part of this year, 2020, they did an adjustment and took another $2000 income tax withholding (at my request).
TD Bank told me that by April 30, 2020 CRA would have the adjusted slip and the additional $2000 income tax.
However, i called CRA and they still do not have the updated slip NOR the $2000.
I have tried calling TD Canada Trust many times over the last few months and I am put on hold, or hung up on. what it comes down to, is that they have basically stolen $2000 from me -- money that should have made it to C.R.A. but has not.
They will not comply to help me figure out why they did not send it, i just get double talk , long hold times and basically hung up on. I'm fed up. I need this issue resolved.
