I am looking for a Data Engineer with expertise in AWS migration and specialization in application development. The ideal candidate will have experience in migrating data from another cloud provider to AWS, specifically working with structured data such as SQL databases. Skills and experience required: - Expertise in AWS migration, specifically from another cloud provider - Strong knowledge and experience with structured data, particularly SQL databases - Familiarity with AWS Glue and Athena for data processing and analysis - Ability to work with a combination of different AWS services for optimal performance and efficiency Pyspark ,sql,python Cdk Typescript Aws glue ,Emr and andes Currently Migrating from teradata to aws. Responsibilities: - Migrate data from another cloud provider to AWS, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal downtime - Design and develop applications that utilize AWS Glue and Athena for data processing and analysis - Optimize data storage and retrieval using AWS S3 and Redshift, as well as other relevant AWS services - Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure project success and meet client requirements If you have a strong background in AWS migration, expertise in working with structured data, and proficiency in utilizing AWS Glue and Athena, then this project is perfect for you. I have completed a project recently in which I migrated data from Teradata to AWS. Firstly we transferred data to AWS S3 in parquet format and then we used Crawlers to make tables in AWS Glue. Then these tables can be used by data engineers team for processing.
