Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced custom ROM developer to design a secure and feature-rich ROM for Google Pixel 5 & Samsung A20. The custom ROM should emphasize user privacy, security, and enhanced device controls. Key Features: Encrypted Local Storage: All data stored locally on the device should be encrypted. Lock Bootloader: Ensure the bootloader is locked to prevent unauthorized tampering. Remove Recovery System / Safe Mode: Eliminate options to access recovery mode or safe mode. Lock Firmware with Secure Keys: Ensure firmware can only be updated with secure keys. Isolated App Environment: Applications should run in isolated environments, ensuring inter-app security. Integrated VPN: A built-in VPN feature for secure browsing and data transmission. Brute Force Protection: Protection against password-guessing attacks. Remove all Third Party Apps: All pre-installed third-party apps should be removed. Remove all Third Party Services: All pre-installed third-party services should be eliminated. Multiple User Mode: Ability for multiple users to use the device with separate profiles. Disabled Location Services: All location-based services should be turned off by default. Camera & Mic Use Indicator: Indicators for when the camera or microphone is in use. Anonymous ID & IMEI Rotation: Feature to rotate device IDs and IMEIs for privacy. Easy Setup: User-friendly setup process for end-users. Disable Emergency Services: Disable all built-in emergency services. (Note: Disabling emergency services may be illegal in some jurisdictions. It is the bidder's responsibility to be aware of and adhere to local regulations.) Installer for Mac: Provide an easy-to-use installer for Mac users. Qualifications: Proven experience in developing custom ROMs for Android devices, specifically for Google Pixel 5 & Samsung A20. Strong understanding of Android security and privacy features. Knowledge of encryption algorithms and implementation. Experience in developing isolated app environments and integrated VPN solutions. Familiarity with disabling and removing Android features and services. Ability to deliver a user-friendly product with easy setup for MAC and installation.
