Deal Mobile App

App Description Our goal is to develop an iOS and android mobile app that allows users to purchase digital deals that are delivered as vouchers via email or within the app. The app will display one deal at a time, and customers will be able to make payments using Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. We also aim to have three types of dashboards: customer, merchant, and admin. Customers will be able to browse deals and purchase them, as well as gift them to others. Merchants will be able to create deals, monitor sales, and redeem vouchers using barcode scanning. Meanwhile, admins will have access to purchase reports and be able to manage merchant signups. We also plan to have live chat support and social media login options for a seamless user experience. Product display • Display the single deal of the day with an image, description, and price. • Provide a clear and visually appealing design to showcase the deal. • Include merchant contact details, such as phone number, email, and location, so customers can easily navigate their way to the merchant. • Display the number of vouchers remaining to be purchased to create a sense of urgency and encourage customers to buy. Shopping cart and checkout process • Allow users to add the deal to their cart. • Provide a simple and intuitive checkout process with Apple Pay and Samsung Pay integration. • Allow users to enter their billing and email information. • Set a limit on the number of vouchers a customer can purchase for each offer, with a maximum of 5. • Display an error message if the customer tries to exceed the maximum limit. • Generate separate vouchers with unique barcodes for each voucher purchased by the customer. • Enable customers to gift the voucher to others through email or share it from their dashboard. • Include the ability to add a personalized message when gifting the voucher. • Ensure that each voucher is redeemable only once and is tied to the customer who purchased it. • Provide an option for the customer to print the voucher for redemption. • Ensure that the voucher includes all necessary details, such as the merchant name, offer details, and redemption instructions. Admin dashboard • Allow admin to add new merchants to the app for a certain time. • Provide the ability to pull purchase reports for each merchant. • Display the status of the number of purchased deals, redeemed ones, remaining deals to be purchased, for each merchant, and for all merchants combined. • Allow admin to view and manage all transactions and purchases made by customers. Merchant dashboard • Display the merchant's details, including contact information and location. • Provide real-time redemption status updates for the merchant. • Allow the merchant to scan the barcode of the voucher to redeem the purchase. • Display the status of the number of purchased deals, redeemed ones, remaining deals to be purchased, for each merchant. • Allow the merchant to chat with customers who have purchased their deal. Customer dashboard • Display the customer's purchase history and voucher status. • Provide the ability to share or gift vouchers to others. • Allow customers to sign up through Google API, Apple Account API, Facebook, mobile number, and email. • Live chat support • Provide live chat support to both customers and merchants. • Barcode scanning • Generate a unique barcode for each voucher purchased to scan for redemption. • Allow merchants to scan the barcode to redeem the purchase, and have the redemption status reflected in all dashboards (admin, merchant, customer). Email delivery • Send the voucher to the customer through email or via the dashboard within the application in the purchase dashboard.
