Remote Network & Systems Management - 3

Our customers pay to have their Network devices and Servers monitored. Currently they are required to fill in details about each device in their network manually. We would like to explore the possibility of creating a software "wizard" that works behind the firewall and can not only do 'network discovery' to automate the data collection, but also help in the selection process by being able to calculate the prices for the devices and options the customer has selected to be monitored under the various schemes. In addition we would like to be able to add the capability to diagnose and troubleshoot the monitoring provisioning process, taking the customer step by step through an automated installation process. We are at present looking only at specifying such a system and exploring the feasibility of our wish-list.
