Hi! I'd be happy to simulate this reinforced concrete beam for you, in either static or explicit analysis depending on whether you want to know how much energy it will absorb in crush, or just how much load it can take with a traditional civil engineering safety factor. On every FEA I do, I first perform a mesh convergence analysis to ensure that the mesh is fine enough.
