Hello, I'm a Systems administrator with over 11 years of experience, including Cisco and other routing and switching work. The easy part is setting up TCPIP management on the switch, though you will probably need to connect with a console cable and give the remote admin some desktop access so he can configure IP access to the router for you. The IOS upgrade will be a little more tricky, but with the right network access it won't take long. Hope that helps clear things up a bit.
